Benat Fernandez Steps Up To The Sportbike World Championship With Kove Racing Team 109

Kove Racing Team 109 is delighted to announce that 2025 FIM Supersport 300 World Champion Benat Fernandez will remain with the squad in 2026.
Benat, who clinched the 2025 WorldSSP300 title in style in the final round of the year at Jerez will step up to the FIM Sportbike World Championship with the team who will be factory supported by Kove for the upcoming season.
Testing with the KOVE 450RR will begin shortly for Benat ahead of a structured pre-season program that will see both Benat and the team ready for lights out when the series – which will run alongside eight rounds of the 2026 FIM Superbike World Championship – begins in Portimão in Portugal at the end of March.
Paul Tobin – Team Principal:
“We are absolutely delighted that Benat will be staying with us for a second season. After his display in Supersport 300 where he won the title for us, we had to fight off many offers to keep him for 2026. He showed his skill and mental strength throughout the 2025 season and his will to win was impressive and so we are excited to continue our journey together into the new FIM Sportbike World Championship with him and with Kove who will provide us with factory support. Benat is happy within our team, and we are happy that he has chosen to stay.”
Benat Fernandez:
“I am really excited to continue my career with Team 109 and Kove. I cannot wait to try the new bike and to start the new season in the Sportbike category. I will work hard over the winter and give my best as always.”
